Threaded spindles for moving heavy loads

Bornemann-Gewindetechnik develops and manufactures threaded spindles for high loads. They are used in particular in lifting technology and hydraulic steel construction.

Threaded spindles from Bornemann-Gewindetechnik are always used when loads in excess of 100 tons, spindle diameters of up to 180 mm and spindle lengths of up to 6 meters are required. In particular, threaded rods with special pitches for special constructions in hydraulic steel engineering can also be produced at short notice.

Especially where high loads occur, the surface topography of the threaded spindles can play a decisive role, as it influences the adhesion of the lubricant. At Bornemann-Gewindetechnik, threaded spindles and nuts are manufactured using the whirling process. This creates microscopically small lubrication pockets on the thread surface, which ensure that the lubricant is not pressed away under high surface loads.

The company manufactures threaded spindles and nuts for almost all applications. In addition to the production of threaded spindles, complex end machining can also be realized. Almost all machinable materials can be processed. One focus of production is on large threaded spindles for applications in lifting technology and hydraulic steel construction, where they are used in the area of spindle gate valves, knife gate valves and gate valves in dams, reservoirs and pumping stations.
