We see sustainability as an integral part of our company philosophy and our value system. In a rapidly changing world with complex environmental, social and economic challenges, we take responsibility and support positive change.

Our sustainability strategy is based on a firm system of values and a principle-orientated business approach. We act in accordance with fundamental responsibilities, guided by the 17 global sustainability goals of the 2030 Agenda. These goals are our roadmap for socially, economically and environmentally sustainable development that enables a decent life worldwide while preserving the natural foundations of life.

By using renewable energy and implementing efficient, environmentally friendly and resource-saving production methods, we are taking concrete steps to contribute to these goals. We strive to be recognised as a dynamic, innovative and professional company that sets standards in threading technology and sustainable corporate management.

Energy efficiency and renewable energies

We attach great importance to energy efficiency in our production. We use advanced technologies and processes to minimise energy consumption. The integration of renewable energy into our operations helps us to reduce our ecological footprint and operate sustainably.

Employee commitment and environmental awareness

Our employees are crucial to the success of our sustainability efforts. Through regular training and awareness-raising, we promote a strong environmental awareness and commitment to environmentally friendly practices in the workplace.

Innovation and continuous improvement

Innovation and continuous improvement are key components of our sustainability strategy. We are committed to researching and applying the latest technologies to constantly optimise our production processes and achieve our sustainability goals.

An important aspect of this is the integration of the lean production philosophy into many areas of our production. For many years, we have endeavoured to make all processes as efficient and resource-saving as possible and intend to continue to do so. This approach helps us to minimise waste and maximise productivity while reducing our environmental impact.

Energy audit and efficiency improvement

To raise our awareness of efficient energy use and to precisely analyse our actual energy consumption, we worked with Limón GmbH to carry out a comprehensive energy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247-1.

This audit gave us valuable insights into our energy consumption patterns and enabled us to identify and implement targeted measures to increase energy efficiency. This proactive approach enables us to continuously improve our energy efficiency and thus actively contribute to environmental protection.

Independent certification by EcoVadis

Our commitment to sustainability was recognised and honoured in 2024 by the independent certification of our practices by EcoVadis, a leading global provider of corporate sustainability assessments.

EcoVadis provides a platform to help companies monitor both the environmental and social practices of their global supply chains. Through a rigorous assessment process based on internationally recognised sustainability standards, EcoVadis analyses companies’ performance in four key areas: Environment, Social Affairs, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

This recognition confirms that our efforts are effective and motivates us to continuously improve our practices to make a positive contribution to a more sustainable future.
