Worm gears
Our product range of threaded spindles includes single-start and multi-start metric worm gears as well as worm gears in diametral pitch (inch).We produce worm gear profiles from module 1 to module 10. Larger worm gears can be manufactured on demand.
Since we can manufacture our tools by our own in-house production, we have the ability to produce any special design according to your mechanical drawing or sample.
Application of worm gears
Worm gears convey worm wheel gear rotations from axle to the worm wheel. In this process, the cogs interlock without slip whereby high powers, for instance in roller drives, gears or steerings, can be conveyed.Thereby, exact gear transmission ratios are put into effect with transmission ratios. Worm gears can be produced as pre-whirled profile for a later grinding process or as a finished shape.
